These destinations offer visitors an immersive experience in the natural beauty, rich culture, and historical heritage of the Darjeeling hills. Through hiking, cultural exchanges, and the stay at heritage bungalows, visitors will be able to explore and appreciate the charm of these two villages.

Destination

Takdha Valley

Takdha, once a British cantonment area, is now known for its lush tea gardens, colonial-era bungalows, and panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga range. The name "Takdha" derives from the Lepcha word meaning "mist," perfectly describing the fog that often veils this village. During the British era, several bungalows were built, which now serve as heritage accommodations for tourists. The village is surrounded by tea plantations and serene hiking trails, offering a peaceful retreat in nature.
